What is it?

At the Historic West End Market, you will find gallery creations from local artists, music, vintage clothing, accessories, hand-crafted jewelry, antiques, delicious foods, family entertainment and much more. You will also discover an array of fresh from the farm vegetables and fruits, quality seafood, home-made breads and desserts, and beautiful fresh-cut flowers. The Historic West End Market encourages civic pride and promotes cultural identity, while offering a unique destination place.

When does it happen?

In 2010, the Historic West End Market will be open Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm beginning May 15th through the end of October. The Historic West End Market will be closed on major holiday weekends.

How do I get there?

The Historic West End Market takes place in the 16oo block of West Trade Street which is conveniently located between Johnson C. Smith University and I-77. It is an easy 1 mile walk from Trade & Tryon in the Center City, and a quick CATS ride from just about anywhere. Free parking is provided and easy handicap accessibility is offered.
